First skills audit for the G321 Foundation Production

I believe that the preliminary exercise is going really well despite the fact that there have been some absences within the group. The absence of one of the group members has meant that I and the other member have had an increased workload. This has lead to certain tasks having to be put on hold until we completed the tasks with higher priority. Despite the absence of one of or groups members I feel that we have worked well together to over come the problems that we encountered. We’ve now got a date set for our filming and the rooms and equipment booked. This is the first time that I have experienced the process of creating a short film and I’m really looking forward to the filming process as I will be operating the camera. I hope that I will be able to pick up the skills and techniques that are needed to create short films. The process that I’m most looking forward to learning about and taking part with, is the editing process. I would really like to learn about how films are edited and how the software that is used works. I hope that the skills that this filming exercise will give me can help me produce more short films in my own time.
